Things to Do in Yountville During the Holiday Season
Spend your weekend exploring the town and businesses, but don’t forget to stop at Santa’s Village at the Yountville Community Center to take pictures and drop a letter to Santa.
The 5th Annual Holidays in Yountville Celebration kicked off on November 21 with a glorious Yountville Town and Tree event at the Yountville Community Center. The event marked the beginning of a full menu of holiday events, some that will extend into the New Year.
Letters to Santa at Heron House
Before you forget, your young ones must drop by The Courtyard at Heron House in the center of Yountville to write and post their Letter to Santa beginning on December 1 and continuing on December 13. 15, 17, and 21.
All letters will be answered by Santa’s elves from the North Pole Headquarters!!
Chocolate Seminar! Presented by Jessup Cellars and Kollar Chocolates
Held at Jessup Cellars Yountville Tasting Room at 6740 Washington Street in Yountville on December 2, the boutique winery presented the 5th Annual Holiday and Chocolate Seminar with famed chocolatier Chris Kollar. Participants received a chocolate education, wine tasting, and an “Infinite Incursion” wine pairing. The event was an excellent opportunity to meet and learn from a renowned chocolatier.
Snowpeople Hunt in Yountville: December 13-23
As part of a Town-wide event, several toy “snowpeople” will be placed in various locations throughout Yountville. Those fortunate enough to find a snowperson should turn it into the Yountville Community Center to receive a prize.
Grapevine Wreath Making Class: December 19
An annual in-person event conducted at the Hill Family Estate Winery, visitors can learn the craft of wreath making using grapevines recently pruned from the nearby vineyard. Participants will receive the necessary wreath-making grapevine canes, plus a bottle of Hill Family’s Chardonnay or Red Blend. The cost-per-person is $45.
