Art, Sip and Stroll & Tasting Gallery
Calling all art-lovers! Together with the Town of Yountville and the Yountville Arts Commission, Jessup Cellars would like to cordially invite you to participate in the largest visual arts event in Napa Valley. The 9th Annual Yountville Art, Sip & Stroll takes place this Saturday, June 12th 2021 from 11:00am to 5:00pm. Jessup’s Yountville winery team and curators of the winery art gallery, including Jessup’s Cynthia Carey, have played a proud role in supporting the annual Art, Sip & Stroll since it’s humble beginnings.
The Yountville Art, Sip & Stroll art extravaganza brings together a myriad of artistic talent celebrating modern and contemporary painting, photography, ceramics, jewelry, sculpture, and more. As a nexus of wine, art and cultural celebrations, Jessup Cellars have participated in the annual event since it start almost a decade ago.
Guests to the Yountville-wide Art, Sip & Stroll event will be wowed with series of indoor and outdoor exhibitions featuring modern and contemporary works from regional and national artists.
This year Chicago-born art curator and resident artist at the Jessup Tasting Gallery, Cynthia Carey, has brought together a divine and inspiring collection of mediums and experiences celebrating visual (paintings, drawing, sculptures and fashion), cinematic (short film series), music (summer music series) and the art of winemaking.
“This year’s event will combine the visual arts with the experience of sampling handcrafted wines to simply elevate both artforms”, says Cynthia.
Traditionally, the winery art gallery has showcased and honored a revolving curation of artists and a wide range of styles from the likes of Jacob Dhein, Vincent Zeus, Jylian Gustlin, Tracey Adams, Karen Haynes and Zoey Frank, just to name a few. Good Life Wine Collective’s own Tracy McArdle & Frederick Boelen will be tasting Handwritten and Jessup wines at Bardessono Hotel, whilst longtime partner Napa Humane will be showcasing a horizontal of 2012 vintage wines at the Pavilion including Handwritten’s Carneros, Stag’s Leap & Calistoga Cabernet Sauvignons.
