Virtual Member Appreciation Event
Our Yountville winery tasting room team have been so excited to welcome our much-missed members and Jessup lovers, back to the tasting gallery. The month of May means we’re only weeks away from our annual Jessup Member Appreciation event. During this time, many wineries near Yountville are still unable to host large scale events, but that doesn’t mean we haven’t got something in store for the history books. We hope you’ll join us for our much-anticipated virtual Member Appreciation event on Saturday June 5th!
As members know, Jessup’s annual event is one of the best perks of becoming a club member. This year will be the first time, we’ve ever hosted our famous member event exclusively online. Throughout the event our friendly tasting team will host an endless flow of fun, live and interactive entertainment. From trivia questions and behind-the-scenes talks featuring familiar faces from our winery and tasting team, to cooking and pairing demonstrations, live music and interactive wine tasting, this day promises to transport you to Yountville for a day of fun.
Members will have access to never seen before interviews from Jessup owner families as well as laidback chats with winemaker Rob Lloyd! Hot in the spotlight, will be our 2018 “Graziella”, our Super Tuscan-inspired Sangiovese blend, which we will be showcased during a tasting and cooking demo creating Rob’s favorite homemade pasta recipe.
To help create the ultimate celebration of Spring living, we’ll have live music sessions with popular samba and Brazilian Carnival from local wine country music duo Monica da Silva and Chad Algar. Chad and Monica have been part of Jessup’s Summer Music Series and various Handwritten events, both in-person and virtually. You’ll hear the latest releases from “Soldado de Amor” (Soldier of Love), which Monica promises helps “leave all things petty behind and live for love, fantasy, happiness and passion”.
Commencing on Saturday June 5th at 1:00pm PST, this event will offer an afternoon of epicurean wonder. Pending picture-perfect sunny weather, we’re welcoming members to host an intimate, outdoor event of their own, featuring a livestream of our Jessup Cellars member’s event, together with friends and family. Together with your help, we want to host the largest live virtual event on record and help you celebrate as if you were joining us at our Yountville winery.
