Nina Storey Live at Hotel Cafe in Hollywood
Jessup Cellars’ fifth season of its intimate Art House Sessions returns Saturday, September 15th with singer-songwriter Nina Storey. The ‘conversation and song’ artist showcase series – produced in collaboration with Hollywood’s famed Hotel Café – has become a perennial hit with both locals and visitors to Yountville, the culinary capital of the Napa Valley.

Individual shows $45 general, $35 for members | Visit CellarPass.com for Tickets

Once a month June through October on Saturday evenings, Art House Sessions goes inside the hearts and minds of its guest artists with conversation and song, openly interacting with guests. Set in Jessup Cellars’ newly remodeled Tasting Gallery with café-style seating, the evening includes artist showcase, light nosh hosted by Atelier by JCB, wine tasting and artist meet-and-greet.

Nina Storey, the soulful Los Angeles-via-Colorado chanteuse who delivers honest and hypnotic songs steeped in classic soul-pop, is as powerful as she is provocative. Her latest CD, Think Twice, produced by Chris Seefried (Andra Day, Counting Crows, Fitz and the Tantrums, Joseph Arthur), has the sensibility of an old-school soul record from the likes of Eartha Kitt, Diana Ross and the Ronettes with a modern, Bruno Mars pop edge. She calls her unique sound, “Future Retro”.

Nina’s music has had wide placements on television and film including Days of Our Lives, My Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, Angel From Hell, Say Yes To The Dress, So You Think You Can Dance, and Girlfriends, as well as on the big screen, American Girl, Stay Cool and The Broken Hearts Club.

On stage, Nina has performed alongside acclaimed artists such as Keb’Mo’, Etta James, Sara Bareilles, Reeve Carney, Sarah McLachlan, Rachel Platten, Jamie Cullum and DeVotchKa.
