On the eve of the installation of George Rose’s Rock ‘n’ Roll in Black & White exhibit, Jessup Cellars learned that renowned photojournalist has been invited to show the historical collection at the Rock ‘n’ Roll Hall of Fame in February 2017. Locals and visitors to the Napa Valley may veiw the show at Jessup Cellars’ Yountville Tasting Gallery through March 31. Reservations are recommended by calling 888.537.7879 or book online with CellarPass.com. The exhibit celebrates the launch of Yountville Live! Music Festival running March 19 through 22.

“I’m pleased that Jessup Cellars is sharing my rock ‘n’ roll photo collection during the Yountville Live! Music Festival. I can’t think of a more rewarding trifecta than the enjoyment of music, wine and photography,” said photographer George Rose.

During a prolific 17-year career as a photojournalist in the ‘70s and ‘80s, Rose developed a remarkable and historic body of photographic work focused on popular culture. Rose is a recipient of a 1987 World Press Photo Award for news, and was named California Newspaper Photographer of the Year in 1976 by the University of Missouri, School of Journalism. The Los Angeles Times twice nominated him for a Pulitzer Prize.
