CURRENT RESIDENT ARTIST
Jason Myers
Jason Myers is a multi-disciplinary artist with studios in Indiana and the Netherlands. Holding degrees from the Kansas City Art Institute and American University, he blends traditional and industrial materials—steel, resin, and digital prints—creating layered works that explore technology, economics, and alienation.
Unlike many contemporary artists, Myers works independently, often taking a year to complete each piece. His art has been exhibited widely, with solo museum shows like STATUS: fluid/dynamic (2017) and I AM ALGORITHM, which examines digital consumerism and data manipulation.
His large-scale installations include a 60-foot, 38-ton sculpture for the 2018 Lowlands Music Festival. Myers’ work is part of museum collections, including the Indianapolis Museum of Art, and has been featured in exhibitions at the Mint Museum, Museum de Fundatie, and Cornell Museum.
