Rhone River Cruise: March 19-26, 2020

Rhone River Cruise & Provence Tour: March 19-29, 2020

In the spring of 2020, our very own A.J. Eisiminger will be the ship’s Wine Host on a wonderful voyage down France’s Rhone River Valley, sailing from Lyon to Arles. We invite you to join us aboard the deluxe river ship M/S AmaCello. On board, A.J. will conduct 3 tastings, comparing and contrasting our own New World wines with those of France and the Rhone region.

This is a great experience and getaway; ideal for those who enjoy history, fine wines and marvelous French cuisine. The wines of the Rhone Valley are world-renowned. In the north Rhone region are the lovely cities of Tournon and Lyon, the latter like a laid-back Paris. Lyon is recognized as the gastronomic center of France, a high accolade in a country which prides itself on delivering the world’s best dining. The southern Rhone Valley is home to the colorful Provence countryside and featured in many Van Gogh masterpieces.

There is an optional 3 night post-cruise tour of Provence March 26-29, 2020. We stay 3 nights in Aix-en-Provence, one of the most interesting and charming small cities in France. Visit the Camargue delta, the village of “Aix” and spend a day at Chateau La Verrerie in the foothills of the French Alps.

The spring tours are pleasant and uncrowded with low airfares. All meals, wine and sightseeing tours are included aboard AmaCello. Friends and family of the Good Life Wine Collective receive a discount of $750 per person ($1,500 per cabin) that will expire May 31stWe recommend you act quickly as the Rhone voyage is always in high demand. A $500 per person deposit will hold your cabin.
