Land, Sea, & Air Barrel Tasting Experience
During January, Jessup Cellars Winery presents an exciting, unique, educational Barrel Tasting experience exclusively for their Wine Club Members. This tasting session will lead Jessup’s valued guests through the life cycle of the wines, tasting some directly from the barrel in Wine Cellar.
The highlight of the guests’ experience at the Yountville winery will be a superb food and wine pairing of chef-prepared gourmet delights that highlight the ways specific varietals coordinate beautifully with certain foods to create the perfect blend of taste, mouthfeel, and color.
This sensual explosion will delight each person’s taste buds and provide the guests with insights into how and why certain wines interact and enhance the enjoyment of certain foods.
And later, guests can apply some of these learnings confidently for future dinner parties and other affairs.
Wine and Food Pairings Presented by Resident Chef MikeC
Jessup Cellars Member guests will be offered wines direct from barrels, current release wines, and some vintage wines from the Winery’s Library in a side-by-side tasting format.
The wines will accompany an appropriate “Land, Sea, or Air” food pairing designed to expand each visitor’s understanding and appreciation of wine-food combinations.
